A seminar organised by leading Bolton accountants, Stafford & Co, promises to show local businesses how to emerge from the recession stronger than ever - in just four hours. The PMI (Performance, Measurement and Improvement) seminar, which is to take place on Thursday, 15th April, 9:00 to 13:00 at Mere Hall, will be presented by Steve Pipe, former UK ‘Entrepreneur of the Year’ and the founder of Added Value Solutions.
Rob Stafford, Director of Stafford & Co explains: “The UK is only just emerging from its worst recession in 60 years, and we are still hearing stories of people in our area losing their jobs, losing their businesses, losing their financial security and losing their pride as a result of the credit crunch and the downturn. “We aim to stop the rot. We are determined that none of our clients and contacts should lose everything. In fact, we don’t want them to lose anything. “The PMI system is unique and guarantees business improvement. By helping business owners identify strengths and weaknesses, opportunities and threats within the context of cashflow, profitability and efficiency, the seminar will provide them with the tools to develop a no-cost action plan that will help them emerge from the recession stronger than before. “The seminar will also be a fantastic networking opportunity for business owners and managers to get together and help each other, and there will be a free session on our recently launched Business Builder Club. ”It’s a tremendous opportunity, and we urge business owners to register and share some of the key lessons Steve Pipe has learned while developing his own successful businesses and initiatives.” Stafford & Co are launching the initiative as part of AVN, an association of accountants working to make the UK's owner managed businesses the most successful and enjoyable to run in the world. AVN resources, tools and support help member firms and their clients become more successful, more profitable and enjoy what they do more. Tickets for the seminar, priced only £50 (plus VAT) are available from Stafford & Co on 0845 33 00 103, fax: 0845 33 05 023, or email: This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
